印度航空停飛一批過重的空服員

印度國營航空公司停飛125名體重過重的空服員，公司管理單位說，它們是遵照航管單位的指示辦理。
印度航空去年對六百名空服員，發出警告函，要他們減重，125個沒有達成目標的空服員，現在被停飛。印航解釋，停飛不純是因為體重，而是體能的問題。它們擔心這些空服員在緊急狀況發生時，因為體型障礙和體能不足，無法有效應變。
印度航空法規載明男性空服員BMI應介於18到25之間，女性18到22。
一個航空專家說，空服員就是航空公司的門面，笨重決不會是航空公司想要給人的印象。不過一個工會領袖說，印度服務業法規中，沒有任何有關空服員體重限制的規定。
這不是印度航空第一次以過重的理由，停飛空服員，2009年也有九個空姐被停飛。（圖片取材自網路）
